Nepriklausomai nuo debesuotumo ir paros laiko neutralusis temperatūros gradientas būna, kai vėjo greitis viršija 5 km/h. Taip pat normali neutraliojo temperatūros gradiento sąlyga – krituliai. Neutralusis temperatūros gradientas yra labai palanki priešui nuodingosioms medžiagoms naudoti.
